Halloween is right around the corner, and I’m feeling a bit haunted! Mostly because I have no Halloween plans, costume, or even candy yet! But these Haunted Mansion inspired Mouse Ears are definitely putting me in the right mindset for the season.
Now don’t close your eyes,
And don’t try to hide.
Or a silly spook may sit by your side.
Shrouded in a daft disguise,
They pretend to terrorize.
Grim grinning ghosts come out to socialize.
I’m ready to socialize in these Haunted Mansion inspired Mouse Ears! I mean, just look at all the great detail! Of course, they ears use the classic Haunted Mansion wallpaper pattern for the ears. But then they are topped with some vintage inspired black lace to add that extra bit of ghoulish style. To finish off the look, there is some black tulle, a black velvet bow, and a cameo brooch.
The cameo brooch is really bringing everything together for me! Against all the dark colors of the ears, the white cameo really pops and looks to be a bit haunted. Just like the singing heads in the ride! Speaking of singing….
As the moon climbs high o’er the dead oak tree,
Spooks arrive for the midnight spree.
Creepy creeps with eerie eyes,
Start to shriek and harmonize.
Grim grinning ghosts come out to socialize.
These Haunted Mansion inspired Mouse Ears are perfect for Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party! Or honestly, really any time of year! If you are a big fan of the Haunted Mansion, you know that Halloween is not the only time to show the Ghost Host some love!
