The I Am Princess Dooney and Bourke bags surprised Disneyland on Friday; no one was expecting this release or this pattern! I live close to Disney World and was insanely jealous that the Land got these first. Fortunately, I only had to wait one day for the East Coast release. And we got a surprise of our own–a matching Magic Band!
The magic band is the same blush pink color as the bags and has the same ear hat pattern. In my opinion, the details of each hat show up even better on the magic band than on the bag itself. Each band also includes a Dooney & Bourke slider.
Placement is the same on each band, and each princess has great representation. Dooney did a beautiful job of crafting this band. The artwork is simply gorgeous!
Even the box itself is a work of art! The cover has the full pattern on it. I’m planning on displaying mine because this box deserves to be seen! The inside of the box is a mixture of both light and hot pink, a color combination which I adore. The bands are a Limited Edition release. Only 2000 were made, and when these are sold, they are gone forever! The bands retail for $48.00 each.
Currently, the Magic Bands are only available at Ever After Jewelry Co. in Disney Springs. They will probably be dispersed around the different parks soon and may even end up online at some point, but nothing has been officially released from Disney at this time.
