I can’t believe the day is almost here, Disney+ launches on November 12! Subscribers will have access to content from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic, and more, alongside exclusive Disney+ Originals.
We have been counting down the days since the D23 presentation, and the day is almost here! So we’re ready to curl up in our coziest pajamas, grab the popcorn and snacks, and watch all of the magic from the comfort of home. Disney+ will be the home to over 500 films over 7,000 episodes of various shows from Disney run channels such as ABC, Freeform, Disney Junior, and Disney Channel at the time of launch. You can also look forward to a collection of Marvel, Pixar, and Star Wars films, animated shows, and even original series.
Beyond Launch
There is even more to look forward to than just launch day. In addition to launch day content, new series and programs will roll out over time as well. Upcoming programming we can look forward to includes Monsters at Work, Togo, Marvel Exclusives, and Stargirl.
I am also looking forward to new holiday specials, the return of DCOMs, and even the introduction of new unscripted series. One such series “Encore!” brings together former castmates of the high school musicals! The show will task them with re-creating their original performance years after they last performed it, in a high school reunion like no other.
You will also be able to stream 4 different shows on 4 different devices at once! That means no arguing over what to watch, and you can even watch on the go!
