How Much Does It Cost To Live Like A Disney Princess?

By Michelle | Updated on May 13, 2016

There are many of us Disney Fashionista’s that would love to live like a Disney Princess. In fact, many of us claim we are a Disney Princess. As fabulous as their wardrobes, accessories and lives (minus their constant run ins with villains) seem to be, I’ve often wondered if I could really afford to be a Disney Princess. I mean, yes, they are royalty but even the dwarfs’ cottage was quite adorable. The House Network has actually taken the time to figure out how much some of our favorite Disney homes would cost in the real world. Could you afford to live like a Disney Princess?

Keeping in mind that these prices are in British pounds, so that more than doubles the price, Jasmine’s childhood home would be approximately 1.75 BILLION pounds. The House Network has even gone into great detail to describe the home and what the valuation is based on. You can find all that info HERE.  I think I need to have a dad as a Sultan to be able to live in a home like this!

Now Cinderella was not born into royalty. She had to find her Prince Charming and that’s how she got to live in the King’s Castle. All the same rules for pricing apply to all of these homes but it does appear that the King’s Castle is not as expensive as the Sultan’s palace. I personally love the details you see above. It has 27 pure white towers! I wonder if that’s on the average person’s home search list?

If you are in the market for ocean views, perhaps Prince Eric’s Castle is what you are looking for. It is a steal at only 4 million pounds! I wonder what King Triton’s Palace is worth? Did Ariel trade up?

You may be wondering how the Dwarfs’ cottage got on the list but Snow White did live there before she met her Prince. This cottage is wheel of a deal at only 250, 000 pounds! I love that it has 2 bedrooms but sleeps up to 8 people (only if small). I absolutely love this cottage!

If you are more of a mountain lover, perhaps beast’s Castle is more up your alley! Do you need 60 rooms? Do you like to throw balls and need a ballroom? The Beast’s Castle is a little on the pricey side at 15 million pounds but perhaps it’s something a Beast can swing.

The details on the House Network site are intriguing and fun to read and I highly recommend checking them out. the bottom line though, is this…. all these homes are owned by royalty! In order to afford any one of them (heck, even the cottage) most of us would have to be royal. So, can I afford to live like a Disney Princess? Not unless I have a grandmother from another country who will soon tell me I’m a royal.

What do you think of these breakdowns? Amazing, right? Let us know what you think in the comment box below!

It seems I already live in the dwarves cottage. Definitely love the Beast’s Castle and would live there even if it didn’t come with enchanted furniture!
