All Aboard with Donald and Daisy
The subject of Disney Ducks on cruise ships is a little controversial, but it seems as if Disney has found a way to embrace them. It has long been a fan tradition to hide ducks around cruise ships for other cruisers to discover. It has been rumored that DCL has preferred people not to do this for various reasons. Instead, Disney now allows you the opportunity to “collect” them in a more conducive manner.
Meet Captain Donald and Captain Daisy. The ducks are the full-size rubber duckies you might see on Jeeps that have been ducks standing approximately 3-4 “ tall and 3” long. Donald proudly wears the blue captain’s jacket that his buddy Mickey wears, while Daisy dons the red blazer of her fashionista friend Minnie.
Nautical Style
The collection continues with two additional duck cast members. We again see Donald and Daisy wearing red, white, and blue, but this time of crew or staff. Donald still looks just as sharp in his red and white striped skipper uniform, complete with his iconic blue bow tie! Daisy looks every bit the activities director in her white jacket, complete with blue and red accents and golden buttons.
