The holiday season is upon us, and we all know it is much better to give them to receive. This year, Amazon plans to donate $1 Million in Disney toys to make-a-wish.
In celebration of the new Disney animated film Wish, Amazon has joined the “Wish Together” campaign, which celebrates Disney’s decades-long relationship with Make-A-Wish® and invites Disney fans of all ages to continue to help grant life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses.
This holiday, by collaborating with Make-A-Wish to create a special Wish List at Amazon.com/Disney of items that will be donated directly to the organization in connection with wish granting, Amazon is making it easier for customers to help make wishes come true for those in need.
Customers can browse and purchase a wide selection of Disney items, including toys, dolls, action figures, games, playsets, LEGO® sets, backpacks, and collectibles on the list. Amazon will send the items directly to Make-A-Wish to gift to kids and their families in need this holiday season and beyond.
Customers will find gifts on the Wish List for a wide range of ages and interests, with prices starting at under $10. Amazon is also planning to donate $1 million in Disney toys, games, and activity kits to Make-A-Wish to support future wishes.
“The power of imagination and play is magical and is what drives all of our work on the Amazon toys team,” said Anne Carrihill, Amazon’s director of toys and games. “We are thrilled to work together with Disney, Make-A-Wish, and our customers to help grant wishes to these heroic kids and families.”
Customers also looking for Disney Wish film gifts for their families and friends can shop new selections available in the Amazon Disney storefront. You’ll find an array of gifts including an array of Wish toys, books, apparel for kids and adults, home décor, and more.
