Animal Kingdom is one of my favorite parks! I love riding Mt. Everest, looking at the animals on the safari, and watching the Tumble Monkeys in The Festival of the Lion King. And with the addition of Pandora, this park is truly stellar! This year marks the 20th anniversary of Animal Kingdom, and we’re beginning to see commemorative merchandise being released in the park.
Raglan tees are so on trend this year! They are comfy and look good on every body type. The design reminds me of vintage Animal Kingdom merchandise which often featured Mickey dressed for a safari adventure!
This shirt also has a bit of a vintage vibe to it. It’s more of a traditional tee in a subdued color scheme. The 20 takes center stage, but if you take a close look at Mickey’s binoculars, you can see reflections of the Tree of Life and Kilimanjaro Safari animals. This shirt retails for $29.99.
This tumbler has a natural, wood look to it that matches the organic feel of Animal Kingdom. The animals are front and center here forming the ‘20.’ It’s simple but definitely thematic.
While not a part of the anniversary merchandise, these new ears were specially created for Animal Kingdom and can’t be found at any of the other parks. The gold and bronze giraffe ears are sparkly and fabulous! The non-sequined ones are Lion King inspired! They have a sweet little Simba charm dangling from the bow. All of these ears retail for $24.99.
