Just a few shorts days ago, Disney hosted a celebration to commemorate the installation of artist Alake Shilling’s Minnie Mouse piece at “Mickey: The True Original Exhibition”.
The exhibition, which is already home to an immersive pop-up art experience celebrating Minnie’s main-squeeze, Mickey Mouse, hosted an exclusive cocktail hour meet and greet with Shilling as she unveiled her newest work.
Shilling’s art takes a look at Minnie’s feminine side with the mix of pastel colors and soft textures. And of course, where would Minnie be without her polka dots? Shilling’s art piece pays tribute to the dots with a full polka dot background.
