If you are looking for a place to relax and unwind aboard the Disney Wish, you won’t have to look far. There are bars and lounges galore! There’s a theme for just about any fashionista and you will want to try them all (which we did).
The Rose Bar
If you have an evening planned at Palo or Enchanté, you will literally have to walk through this enchanting bar themed after Beauty and the Beast (and even moreso the Enchanted Rose). We didn’t have dinner planned at either restaurant so we went up for a mid-afternoon drink. What a hidden gem!
Many people don’t realize this is open at noon and stays open till the wee hours of the morning! We had the bar all to ourselves and were able to chat with the cast members and learn about the design of the bar. I won’t ruin it for you. Go. Have a drink (they are delicious) and relax!
Hyperspace Lounge
I know this is the bar most of you are wanting to know about. As the least knowledgable Star Wars fan at Disney Fashionista, I can honestly tell you, that this bar is awesome! I thoroughly enjoyed myself! I found myself in space, enjoying the atmosphere, the drinks, the memorabilia, and the other cruisers. You don’t have to be a Star Wars obsessed fashionista to enjoy this lounge (although if you are, you will be giddy with excitement).
Beyond the atmosphere (which makes the reservation you need to make totally worth it), the drinks are also yummy! The menu is on a tablet (very high tech) and the drinks are yummy. Some even have hidden messages!
Make sure to get a reservation (you must have one and they only last 45 minutes) to Hyperspace Lounge. You won’t regret it!
Keg & Compass
This is the one bar we didn’t make it into so I guess we didn’t try them all. This is mid-ship and right by Luna. The decor is very travel based and, to me, has an old steamliner feel. They serve a few appetizers in this bar, as well! There were also people playing games. This is one bar that is much less girlie and I have a feeling many of the men will want to hang here.
The Bayou
Now, this bar is one I spent lots of time in! It is Princess and the Frog themed and they nailed the decor! You literally feel like you are in the bayou. This bar is midship deck 3 so you walk past it a lot if you shop, go to the shows, or spend time in the atrium. You really can’t avoid it nor would you want to.
This bar/lounge has beignets! They were a fun snack to have with our delicious drinks. There is live entertainment much of the time and you can never go wrong checking out the live entertainment on a Disney Cruise. Everyone has a set of pipes! At one point, I even saw one of the afternoon adult-only crafts taking place in The Bayou. It’s a beautiful, well-used space!
Triton Lounge
This lounge is a bit of a hidden gem. It’s a small space and it’s used for activities like family karaoke! It’s more of a lounge than a bar and it has the cutest menu! It’s a menu that kids will love!
Nightingale’s
Nightengale’s was my absolute favorite bar on the ship! I think it’s fair to say that was one of the most popular because when it opened at 5pm, the place was packed and there wasn’t even standing room left!
The atmosphere is wonderful, true, but the drinks… oh my, the drinks. The drinks are all based on bubbles! What’s more magical than bubbles?! You could choose from Air bubbles, Smoke bubbles, and Frozen bubbles. We tried something from each mini menu. These drinks are innovative and delicious. I absolutely cannot wait to go back!
Luna
This space is also more of a lounge. It is used for Bingo, Adult evening activities, and more. There is a bar, however, so it counts! You can have your beverages while enjoying any of the activities going on here AND it’s 2 stories! This is a whole new lounge for Disney cruisers and a lot of looky-loos would try to get a glimpse of what was going on as they passed by.
Enchanted Sword And Wishing Star Café
These 2 are very similar with the exception of theming and they are more of a cafe than a bar. They do have alcohol but they also have all of your favorite coffees from Cove Cafe! You just don’t have to go all the way to 14 Aft to get them! Very convenient and both are right in the middle of the action on 3 and 4 midship!
Cove Cafe and Bar
The adult only Pool deck is home to Cove Cafe and bar. Technically there are two bars because Cove Cafe serves alcohol as well as the outdoor bar by the pool! They definitely know their audience on the adult only pool deck!
Remaining Bars
It’s literally impossible to write about every single bar and lounge because they are everywhere! There are multiple on the pool decks. In fact, without thinking too hard, I can picture at least 3. I’m telling you there are bars and lounges galore! There are some near the theaters. I mean, if you are looking for a drink on the cruise, you won’t have to look too far, I promise you. They’ve made it quite easy for you!
