Ariel is celebrating 30 years this year and we have been dreaming of a new Dooney and Bourke Collection featuring her. Dreams come true! The newest Dream Big Princess Collection features Ariel and her sea friends and this fashionista is freaking out!
The Dream Big Princess collections have featured 3 silhouettes with a tote celebrating the Princess with a large illustration. The Little Mermaid series does exactly that. You can see Ariel flipping her fins on the tote bag with a gorgeous image and, though we haven’t seen them in person yet, I would hazard a guess that the bottom is the same as the pattern on the other bags as we have recently seen.
I am dying over the back of this bag. I love that it is different than what we usually see on the large totes.
There are 2 other silhouettes in the series. It looks like a satchel and a crossbody. This crossbody looks a lot like a similar one we have seen recently. The Disney Cruise Line’s most recent Dooney has this same silhouette. It is on the smaller size but perfect for essentials.
The overall pattern shows Ariel swimming along with Flounder and Sebastian! The colors are almost a watercolor which I think is genius for a print based on the Sea!
You can see on the satchel that the Dream Big Princess tag is included in this collection as we would expect.
We don’t have prices yet but we will soon because this collection releases on Friday, September 13th! That doesn’t sound like a lucky day but it most definitely is now! The collection releases at Ever After Jewelry Co at Disney Springs. I am not sure if it will be at Uptown Jewelers or Mouse Gear. I also am not sure if it will release on shopDisney. I’m sure we will hear more soon.
