I was born in the Fall and have always been drawn to that time of year. The second that the fireworks are over on the 4th of July, I start looking for all things Pumpkin. BTW, I already spotted some Pumpkin Spice Coffee at my local Walmart! Now we are seeing even more Spooky Season items, like this new Halloween Jewelry from Her Universe which we recently came across at Hot Topic.
Minnie is the top Witch this season and you can show her some love with these spider web earrings, found here. Minnie’s orange head and silver bow blend in perfectly with the color of the web as she lures you in to buy these earrings. The bow even has a little extra detail. If you look closely, I think that it looks a little like bat wings. If your significant other asks you why you bought these earrings, you can just blame it on the spell that Spider Minnie had over you in the store.
The next item is a set of Minnie and Mickey Hair Clips, found here. The only thing scary about these clips is missing out on the opportunity to buy them! Both Minnie and Mickey look so happy to be floating around your head.
And, they are even better when the lights go down. That’s because they give off an eerie glow when it gets dark. They would make great friends to take with you to Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party.
Friendship Necklaces
While Friendship Necklaces might not be the first thing that comes to mind when you think of Halloween, I think that they should be! This collection includes two sets of necklaces. The first is a classic Mickey and Minnie Skeleton Set, found here. They are wearing matching Halloween costumes and are ready to collect their candy. They even have old-school treat buckets that match their retro animation. I think that Minnie’s bucket looks like a Hunny Pot that she has borrowed from her friend Pooh. But maybe it could be a witch’s cauldron with brew dripping out as well.
The second Friendship Necklace set is the Minnie and Mickey Ghost set, found here. There is absolutely nothing scary about this set. In fact, the first time that I saw them, I burst out into laughter. That’s because I thought that the characters’ little surprised faces were hilarious. Minnie has a little white bow and long lashes, even as a ghost. While this would be a nice BFF Necklace, I also think that it would be wonderful for a Bride and Groom that were getting married during the Spooky Season.
