I am in love with most of the Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary merchandise because of the color scheme and how cute all the characters look in their celebration outfits! I have bought a significant amount of 50th merchandise but am trying to have self control and not buy everything I see. Well, all that self control went out the window yesterday when I saw a picture on Instagram of an adorable light-up Mickey wristlet and rushed to World of Disney to purchase it! It retails for $39.99 and measures 9 inches by 5.5 inches.
The navy wristlet features Mickey in his celebration outfit, Cinderella Castle, the ”50” logo, and fireworks. The fireworks light up when your phone rings (if it’s inside the wristlet) and when you open the bag. While the same design is on both sides, only one side lights up. This will be perfect for nighttime visits to the parks and I can feel like an Electrical Parade or SpectroMagic float as I walk down Main Street U.S.A.!
While I purchased the wristlet at World of Disney, it has been spotted at the Emporium. It will likely pop up at other stores on property too and could also show up on ShopDisney.
