When I was a little girl, one of my favorite things to wear was overalls. I had two pairs. One was a Looney Toon Pair and the other was a pair with Winnie the Pooh characters on the front. My best friend Dinah and I accidentally purchased the same pair of Looney Toon overalls and it was always so exciting when we wore them on the same day. Just in time for spring Hot Topic has new Disney Shortalls that are calling my name and bringing me back to my younger days.
The first pair of shortalls is denim and has Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy, and Daisy popping out of the large front pocket. The characters are drawn with a retro look, which I think fits well with the nostalgic feeling that comes with wearing shortalls. Pluto also makes an appearance near the hip pocket on one of the legs of the shortalls. You can find these HERE and they are available in regular and plus sizes.
Next up is a pair of Up shortalls. These denim shortalls have an embordered Junior Wilderness Explorer patch on the large front pocket. There is also a small, embordered Grape Soda cap on the hip pocket of one of the legs. My favorite part of these shortalls is that the phrase “The wilderness must be explored!” is embordered on the back. This is a cute touch that might be missed the first time you look at the outfit. You can find these HERE.
We’ve been seeing a lot of Stitch in recent months, whether it be Halloween decorations or the new Stitch Crashes Disney Collection. Now, you can even get Stitch shortalls! These denim shortalls have white stripes and feature Stitch on the front pocket. Stitch is seen looking super cool wearing sunglasses and eating ice cream. You can get these shortalls HERE.
There is also a pair that features Mulan. These shortalls are black with red embordered accents. The large front bib pocket has a red embordered Mushu symbol. Mulan’s name is written in Chinese characters on the left leg. Finally, Mulan’s hair comb and cricket friend can be seen in red on the back of the shortalls. These shortalls are also available in regular and plus sizes and can be found HERE.
Finally, there is a fun pair of black shortalls featuring some of your favorite Disney villains. Maleficent, Ursula, and the Evil Queen can be seen hanging out on the front pocket of the shortalls. You can also see symbols representing each of these evil ladies on the left leg of the shortalls. These symbols include a poison apple, a seashell, and Maleficent’s henchman, Diablo the crow. You can pick up these shortalls HERE in both regular and plus sizes.
All of the Disney Shortalls that I talked about in this post are available at Hottopic.com. Let us know in the comments section which pair you’re looking forward to wearing this spring!
