Character Couture Makeovers are Magical!

For my daughter’s ninth birthday, we splurged on the full Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique experience: dress, hair, makeup, and nails. It was a magical experience for both of us, but I have to admit that I was a teensy bit (okay, more like insanely) jealous of her. I kept wondering why Disney didn’t have something similar for adults, and I know many other Fashionistas feel the same. So when Disney Parks Blog announced the new Character Couture packages, I squealed my loudest squeal and gave my best princess giggle! It’s finally MY turn to get transformed!

These magical makeovers are now being offered at Ivy Trellis Salon at The Grand Floridian. You can have a makeover inspired by classic characters like Minnie Mouse or your favorite princess. If that’s a little too sweet for you, they also offer villains, Marvel characters, and “galactic” heroes. Who’s up for some Princess Leia buns?

There are three different packages from which to choose. Storybook Style includes only a character inspired hairstyle. It costs $80 for adults. Tiny Fashionistas can get this package for $50. Magical Makeover is more expensive but includes both hair and makeup. It costs $105 for adults and $75 for children. The most elaborate of the three packages is Timeless Transformation which includes hair, makeup, and nails for $120 ($90 for the little Fashionistas.)

I have an appointment for my very own magical transformation this Sunday! I’ll be sharing pics and videos on our Instagram (4disneyfashion) and afterward, I’ll be sharing all the details with you here on Facebook. I am so very excited about this!

Will you get a Character Couture makeover on your next visit? Which character would you choose? Let us know in the comments!
