Our favorite Chef, Mickey Mouse is finally getting back into the kitchen. Starting on December 16, Mickey and his friends are returning to breakfast at Chef Mickey’s restaurant inside Disney’s Contemporary Resort. Not only that, but they are bringing some new menu items with them!
Every day is a reason to celebrate when you’re at Walt Disney World. To make it the Best Day Ever, try the new Mickey’s Celebration Pancake. It features whipped cream, celebration sprinkles, shimmery pixie dust and more. It’s a sweet treat for guests of all ages!
For guests looking for something less sweet and more savory (but still delicious!), Chef Mickey’s will feature a new Loaded Potato-Cheese Casserole topped with smoked bacon crumbles and chives. I am ALL about this option!
Finally, Goofy’s Banana Bread French Toast will take your breakfast experience to a new level! This dish combines the flavors of banana bread baked in a zesty orange-scented French toast batter. Then, it is topped with Espresso-mascarpone cream, toasted bananas, and chocolate crumbles. Excuse me for a moment while I wipe drool off my keyboard.
If you’re like me and just can’t decide which new menu item to try, you can taste all three as part of an all-you-care-to-eat family-style feast. The new menu options will be served alongside other traditional breakfast favorites.
Character dining is a bit different now in order to keep everyone safe. However, you can still expect to see all your favorite characters as they parade through the restaurant in their chef’s best. You can still smile, wave, and take a long-distance selfie with your favorite pals!
Reservations for Chef Mickey’s character breakfast will open on October 17, based on availability. In addition, Disney Resort hotel guests can make reservations up to 60 days in advance plus the length of their stay (up to 10 days). For more information, please click here.
