If you have children, you understand that everything has to be equal. What you give one child, you have to give the other, or else chaos ensues. Disney Parks has yet to discover that when it comes to merchandise. First, it was the Donald Sipper and Chip N Dale Popcorn bucket. Now, a new Chuuby Popcorn Bucket Creates West Coast Envy. Or maybe it’s all a genius marking plot?
If you’re not familiar with the sweet little bird, no worries. He’s relatively new on the 100-year-old Disney scene. Chuuby flew into our lives with the introduction of Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railroad at Hollywood Studios. Disney Wiki states, “Chuuby is first seen at the beginning of the ride, overtop of the train tunnel in the first room after loading. The second time you encounter Chuuby is as you exit the main-ride into the unload area. Here Chuuby is seen overhead, chirping and dancing to entertain you as you wait for your train to be the next to unload.”
Those with motion sickness or who’ve never experienced MMRR rightfully wouldn’t know our little friend. However, those who do know him, LOVE HIM. What’s not to love with those sweet chubby cheeks and big eyes! The fact that this popcorn bucket is debuting at Disneyland when the character originated in Orlando, equals another reason Chuuby Popcorn Bucket Creates West Coast Envy. WDW fans have their fingers crossed he flies South eventually! However, if not, you can always pick one up in Toontown at Disneyland by booking your vacation with Small World Vacations.
