A few months ago, D-Living in Disney Springs enchanted us all with its Beauty and the Beast themed store design. It was the place for exclusive Beauty and the Beast tees, table settings, home decor, and even Dooney and Bourke handbags. I popped in last week to get my daily dose of Belle but was met with something far different: D-Living has been transformed into a Star Wars themed patio scene complete with gifts perfect for Father’s Day!
Let’s start with this Tie Fighter grill because this is quite possibly the coolest thing I’ve ever seen. This is a portable gas grill which sears the Star Wars logo onto your food and is guaranteed to delight any Star Wars loving dad. And with a price tag of $499, it definitely should! There is a sign in the store stating that the grill is exclusively found at D-Living, but we found it HERE for $399. And do you see that light saber sitting on top of the grill? Once you pull the red cover off, you have grill tongs! I love the combination of fun and practical! The tongs retail for $39.99, and the droid salt and pepper shakers are only $9.99!
These grill aprons are an adorable and affordable alternative to the grill. These retail for $24.99 and come in a variety of different characters, ranging from Han Solo to Darth Vader. If the guy in your life likes “dad jokes,” the Yoda one is sure to be a hit!
Rounding out the grill and general kitchen supplies are kitchen towels, oven mitts, and cutting boards, ranging from $19.99 to $28.99. The Darth Vader silicone glove is fabulous!
There are also assorted sizes of aluminum water bottles, coffee mugs, and drink cozies. The black water bottles look fierce! The larger size sells for $48.99, and the smaller one is $32.99.
If you are crafty and like to put a little time equity into your gifts, this chair might be your perfect solution! It is not available for purchase at Disney, but I was assured by a cast member that this is a simple DIY project. If you give this a try, we’d love to see how it turns out!
A cast member at D-Living told me that the store concept will change every three months and will either reflect a seasonal change or correspond to a new media release.
