What are you all doing for Thanksgiving? I am usually elbow deep in mashed potatoes at a big family celebration, but this year is a bit different. I actually do not have any plans, at all! We orginally planned to go to a favorite local restaurant, but when I called two weeks ago to make a reservation, the only time they had left was for 8:30 pm! I’m sorry, but that is just too late to be eating my weight in turkey and dressing! So now we are taking a step back and re-evaluating the holiday.
Thanksgiving is about giving thanks. Obviously. So we are thinking we are going to spend the day at home, enjoying each other’s company, making a low key dinner, and enjoying a movie marathon. And, since I’m going to be at home all day, it’s totally appropriate for me to wear Mouse Ears, right? After all, how am I supposed to get in the holiday spirit if I’m not wearing Mouse Ears?
