Disneybounding is when you use regular clothing items from your closet to create an outfit based on your favorite Disney character using color blocking or theme suggestions. It’s a fun way to mix it up and enjoy the parks. Every year our Head Fashionista, Michelle, throws a FABULOUS, Disneybounding Oscar Party. Check out some pics here and here. Disneybounding does not have to stop with your wardrobe. Why not extend it to your home as well? This can be done by using black and white polka dots, to rock the dots! Or theme a room with traditional Mickey colors or red, yellow and black. Recently, while shopping at Bath and Body Works, I spotted some amazing home accessories that would be perfect for Disneybounding your home.
EVIL APPLE NIGHTLIGHT
Would you like a bite of apple, dearie? Who could resist such a luscious treat? This Halloween themed Wallflower plug is giving off strong Snow White’s poisonous apple vibes. What appears to be an innocuous apple, transforms to spooky when illuminated. Bath and Body Works has 9 different apple scents to pair with it. While it does show sold out online, I saw plenty in stock at my local store, start with your nearest location.
MONSTER TREE NIGHTLIGHT
This Monster Tree Nightlight reminds me of The Black Forest in Beauty and the Beast. Known for snarling wolves, bats and “alive” trees, the Black Forest is the woodlands surrounding Beast’s castle. Click here for some autumn flavored scents.
WITCHES COTTAGE NIGHTLIGHT PROJECTOR
Last, is the Witches Cottage Nightlight projector. This humble abode would be a great nod to the Sanderson Sisters. Through the yellowed glass, you can see a silhouette of a witch inside the home. Flowers and pumpkins decorate the exterior of the house. When illuminated, “Happy Halloween” is projected on the wall behind the plug-in. Suggested scent pairings can be found here.
