“Up where they walk, up where they run.
Up where they stay all day in the sun…
Wanderin’ free… wish I could be
part of that world.”
Winter’s still here and more than ever I am wanderlust for some tropical temperatures. Even if I can’t hop aboard a plane or ship away to an exotic island on a whim, I’ll appease myself by taking a mental trip to where the seaweed is always greener – UNDER THE SEA.
This week’s Disney Bounding look is Ariel from The Little Mermaid. Scroll below to see what items we chose for our Ariel: All Day in the Sun look.
A few of Ariel’s Disney Bounding whose its and whats its include this metallic purple sea shell satchel, pink crystal starfish earrings, and lest we forget – the ultimate “whatchamacallit” fork necklace.
While Ariel is most known for having a fin, we wanted to continue the nautical trend in this Disney Bounding look. Nautical themes call for seashells, starfish, and rich textures of the sea creatures that lurk below.
For footwear, we opted for something laden with seashells. Should you choose to go barefoot, we dig this starfish anklet to make it appear as if you just washed ashore. On the other hand, these Sam Edelman gladiators fit the bill with beads and rope accents. Bonus if you add the anklet to the gladiators for extra sea oomph.
