Another week, another Disney Bounding look to inspire you, Disney Fashionistas! This week we’re taking it ultra classic by imbibing the All-American chic of alternating chambray and khaki/nudes to bring you Fix-It Felix Jr: Hit Play.
Though Fix-It Felix Jr. is a male character, there’s no need to feel backed into a corner of having to up the masculinity. I have a philosophy that even with male characters, one should always strive to inject feminine flair, as you saw in the previous Captain Hook: Walk the Plank Disney Bounding look that featured the delicate ruffle shell.
That said, we’ve opted for a denim jumpsuit to maintain some youth. No tool belt should ever be free of color or that air of video game whimsy, so we pulled together this yellow bow belt to cinch the jumpsuit. The belt helps refrain from making the jumpsuit look too boxy and dowdy.
The suede and textured TOMS booties also help elevate the look – literally! By adding some height wight the heeled bootie, again, you refrain from looking masculine. We love the TOMs philosophy of buying one and giving one. That mantra is a whole lot like Fix-It Felix Jr. if you think about it! Always helping, always fixing, always giving. So these booties were a total shoe in.
No work woman would be complete without her trusty baseball cap. We loved how the chambray was a bit darker than the jumpsuit’s shade, giving this look dimension with the alternating hues of chambray. Lastly, you’ll need a satchel to stow away that golden hammer (or let’s be real, lipsticks, notes, and the kitchen sink!).
