Music gets at my soul. It’s one of the fastest ways to elevate my mood and has the power to take me back in time. This Disney Discovery, the Disney Goes Classical CD from the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra has the power to do just that and more! I can’t wait to see what treasures it holds.

This album is pure gold! And I’m not just saying that because of the design on the front cover! Just look at the track list and you’ll understand why. It’s starts out strong with the Overture from Mary Poppins and then doesn’t stop. At first, I was thinking that because it was classical music, that only the classic Disney stories would be covered, but that is far from the case! There really is a little something from all of the Disney eras. From Mary Poppins and Pinocchio to The Little Mermaid and The Lion King to Moana and The Princess and the Frog. This CD has all of your major Disney bases covered.

For those of you who have been sitting at the edge of your seat…YES! Let it Go is on the CD as well. For me, I think that the biggest surprise was the song that was included from Toy Story. The obvious choice, in my opinion, would have been “You’ve got a Friend in me.”, but that wasn’t there. Instead “When she loved me” shines on this CD. I couldn’t be more excited for this hidden treat!
