New Year’s Eve is one of my favorite holidays. I love the celebration and the idea of getting to start fresh in the New Year. Also, there isn’t a lot of pressure to get the perfect gift or make the best food. And this year it is extra special because New Year’s falls during Hanukkah. In my house, we always have a large New Year’s celebration, complete with our own mini ball drop down the stairs. I can’t wait to add these new Disney New Year Decor items to our holiday line-up because there can never be too many New Year decorations in my house.
We found three items that we just can’t live without. To begin, we can welcome guests with this New Year Welcome Banner, found here. The banner has two parts, one for each side of our door. The first side has festive golden Mickey heads that are all decked out for the holidays. I am particularly fond of the Mouse Head with a top hat on its head. It’s adorable, so who could blame me? There are also two heads with fireworks in them and two with little Minnie bows on them. On the other side, we see the words “New Year” with fireworks all around and a champagne toast at the bottom.
The second item is this matching door cover, found here. This cover is black and gold, just like the banner and has confetti, fireworks, and even a champagne toast. There is a large, fake Mickey head clock at the center. The cover is made of fabric, so it can be used for years to come.
The final item is this set of Window Clings, which you can find here. The set comes with 9 sheets of window clings that are color-coordinated to match with the other items in this collection. The window clings come in a variety of different shapes, like the Mickey head with a top hat, Mickey Clock, and even a golden Mickey head balloon, just like the ones that you would get in the parks.
