Disney Discovery: Disney Parks Desserts Cookbook

Dessert is my favorite meal of the day. If I could eat ice cream for every meal of the day, I would. The only thing better than a sweet treat is one with a Disney theme. I can’t wait to treat myself to everything that this Disney Parks Desserts Cookbook has to offer.

The cookbook, which you can get here, has 101 Disney dessert recipes that are just waiting for you to try out. In it, you will discover everything from fancy drinks to Mickey Donuts. There is something for everyone to enjoy, no matter what they are craving. In addition to having each treat’s recipe, there is also information regarding where each treat comes from in the park. I thought that it was really cool to see that description of the Passion Fruit-Coconut Parfait. Not only does it say where it can be found in the park, it also talks about the year that it first appeared in the parks. So this book can be multi-purpose. It helps you cook and it also can help you to brush up on Disney food related trivia.

As someone who is gluten-free, I was excited to see that there were even some recipes in the book for people like me. There are also a few more healthy dessert options, like the whole wheat chocolate chip cookie recipe. I’m excited to look at the other recipes in the book and see what other dietary needs it might cater to.
