Jim Shore has been a household name in the homes of Disney Collectors. If you haven’t been introduced yet, there’s no better time than spring to start working on your collection. These Disney Discovery, Easter Jim Shore Collectables will help you to do just that.
We can’t get enough of these four fabulous pieces of art and think that you will feel the same way. The first item is this classic Mickey and Minnie piece. Mickey and Minnie are chatting away as they decorate Easter Eggs. The details on this piece are nothing short of extraordinary. Notice that the eggs in the Easter Basket match some of the eggs in the stand’s design. Additionally, some of the patterns also complement the designs on Mickey and Minnie’s ears. Even the Easter Basket looks almost real.
Next on our wish list is the Thumper and Blossom Bunny Figurine. I love finding items with characters that you don’t always see and this is one of those items. Pay close attention to the details seen here are well! The grass looks like it is growing and popping up near Thumper’s feet. The designs on the bottom half of both Thumper and Blossom look like flowers blooming from the ground. The characters come to life because of the way that their tails and ears are positioned. It almost looks like they are moving. Finally, Blossom’s flowers match the flowers at the base of the statue. I wonder if that’s where Thumper picked them!
The third figurine is the Easter Tinker Bell figure. Tinker Bell looks human from the way that she sits on the egg to her come hither gaze. My favorite part of the figurine has got to be the little bunnies all around the egg. While they may seem like simple silhouettes at first, when you look again, you’ll see that the bunnies aren’t facing you. Instead, their little bunny tails point outwards. I wonder if they are all talking with each other and having an Easter Bunny meeting so that they can be ready for the big day.
Finally, no collection is ever really complete without a Stitch item. The Easter Egg Stitch item is sure to make your guests giggle. Stitch tries, and fails, to scare people as he pops out of the Easter Egg. I wonder if he is trying to nab the Easter Bunny so that he can get all of the Easter candy?
