Disney Discovery: Haunted Mansion Crochet Kit

When I hit 30, I found myself really getting into old lady hobbies. I find myself at BINGO on Wednesday evenings and at Book Club on Tuesday night. I’ve also added kitting and crocheting to my list. This Haunted Mansion Crochet Kit is my next attempt at making something magical with my new hobby.

This kit, found here, has everything that you need to make two projects: Madame Leota and Sally Slater the Tightrope Girl, with her parasol and chomping alligator at her feet. That alone will save you a lot of time because you won’t have to worry about finding the correct size hook or the correct string. Those things are sometimes a barrier for me to start a project, so now I don’t have to worry about that.

In addition to the materials for the two projects, there are also step-by-step instructions and pictures of ten additional Haunted Mansion projects. As much as I love the internet and YouTube, I have found that it is easier for me to read the directions and follow along in a hard copy format.

Finally, the projects that this Haunted Mansion Crochet Kit contains appear to be relatively easy to follow. This is perfect for me because I need all the help that I can get to move from slanted scarf creation expert to someone with more advanced skills.
