My name is Jacqueline and I have a confession to make: I often shop in store departments not meant for me. I have been known for shamelessly shopping for tees and cardigans in the kids section (why do they get ALL the cute stuff!? When I was shopping for the perfect go-to work tote back in July, I debated between backpacks, totes, and messenger bags. I ended up going with a “diaper bag”. That’s right – I rock a diaper bag on the regular and I don’t even have children. WHY? Because you can’t beat the organization afforded by a diaper bag!
To get you on my wavelength of Spring cleaning and organization, today’s Disney Discovery is the Mickey Mouse “diaper” bag.
Straying from the traditional Red/Black/White color scheme associated with the Mouse of the House, this diaper bag’s palette is black/blue/grey with large Mickey applique. A miniature pattern of blue and grey Mickeys outfits the lower half of bag.
The Mickey Mouse diaper bag comes with a clear vinyl bag for personal items, as well as a blue foldable changing mat. On both sides, there are cup/water bottle holders – this is where many traditional messenger bags and totes come up short. Flip open the velcro enclosure flap and there is plenty of space for baby needs or your laptop (refashion the changing pad as additional padding wrapped around your laptop?), book, agenda, wallet, snacks, you name it.
The sturdy shoulder straps allows for it to be worn over the shoulder or as a cross-body on the shoulder. With an easy wipe down, the nylon material looks resistant to stain.
