Disney Discovery: Valentine’s Day Jim Shore

While most people keep their Christmas decorations up all year round, I usually keep my Valentine’s Day themed decorations up for way longer than I should. There is nothing like bright red and pink to brighten your mood on a chilly winter morning. I know that I am looking forward to displaying these Valentine’s Day Jim Shore collectables all year long.

The first item is the Minnie Mouse Miniature Figurine. She looks so peaceful. Almost as though she is thinking about Mickey as she clasps the paper heart. She has a pretty pink bow which matches her light pink shoes and heart. She has lilac colored eye make-up, which matches the lovely purple accents in her hair.

Minnie and Mickey both star in the second collectable figure. The Mickey and Minnie Mouse Sitting on Heart Figurine is just bursting with love and affection. They look so happy to be sitting on the heart together.

While the front of the collectable is cute, I think that the back is equally as nice! Just look at the detail in their hands and the way that they interlock. I am also crazy about the way that their cheeks are squished together.

The final item is the Pooh and Piglet Handmade Valentines collectable. From the start, I was very intrigued by this item because not only are the characters making paper hearts, but they also look handmade. Like the other Jim Shore items, this figure is bursting with added details. The little scissors and scrap paper near Pooh are so realistic. I also love that Piglet is adding his own tiny, little heart to the chain.
