The Year of the Ox starts on February 12, 2021, and the Disney Parks Lunar New Year Collection helps you celebrate in style! I am so excited to add a touch of Disney magic to my traditional Lunar New Year festivities (I wish these were around when I was growing up!).
T-Shirts
Wearing red for Lunar New Year is important to attract good luck and good fortune. ShopDisney has two Disneyland Lunar New Year 2021 t-shirts to help you get in the festive spirit! The adult t-shirt has glittering gold Ox with Mickey Mouse screen art as well as lucky symbols. The carp is featured prominently and stands for wealth and success. Red Envelopes
One of my favorite traditions for Lunar New Year is giving my son a red envelope (hong bao), which is a traditional gift that adults give children during the holiday. You fill the red envelope with paper money (amounts ending in 8 are the most lucky and make sure to avoid any numbers ending in 4!). The Mickey Mouse and Friends Red Packet Envelopes are an adorable iteration of the tradition. The Mickey envelope translates to good fortune, the Minnie design translates to prosperity, and the Donald envelope means luck. The set comes with two of each design – I like saving some to decorate with too!
Magnet Set

I really goofed and waited too long. Now, the magnets (set of 5) are sold out on shop Disney. Are they still available at Disney Springs?

Hi Erin! When I last checked at Disney Springs, they only had the WDW spirit jersey and the ears. Hopefully they will restock online (I know I wanted the magnets too!).
