Disney Parks To Enforce Strict Disney Dress Code For Park Goers!

By Michelle | Updated on April 1, 2019

As Disney fashionistas, I am sure that you take your Disney wardrobe very seriously. Keeping this in mind, it is necessary to share the latest Disney fashion news. Disney Parks will be enforcing a strict Disney dress code for Park Goers starting May 1st.

Starting May 1st, Disney Park attendees must wear Disney apparel of some sort. Dresses, leggings, tee shirts… that is up to you. If you are not wearing Disney apparel, you will be escorted to the nearest shopping location to purchase an item of your choosing so that you will abide by the dress code.

To take this one step further, guests that are wearing any apparel that represents a film from Universal Studios will be escorted off property. No second chances. You can still love your Universal clothing just not on Disney property.

I know for many Disney fashionistas this won’t be difficult to uphold. I mean, who doesn’t wear Disney attire when they attend the Parks?! If you are planning on attending with friends or family that don’t feel the same as you do, have them shop and pack accordingly.

Shops will be added to the front of each Disney Park to assist with the mass purchases that will ensue from this new dress code rule.

Socks, shoes, purses, Ears, and jewelry, etc are accessories and will not count as part of this dress code.

Disney Springs is still a grey area as it does not require admission. We will keep you updated if this changes in the future.

What do you think fashionistas? Are you ready to get rid of anything and everything that isn’t Disney? Or have you caught on to the fact that it’s April 1st?

April Fool’s, fashionistas! Have a magical day (and still wear only Disney!)!
