I am counting down the days until the live action Beauty and the Beast film hits theaters! I cannot wait to see Emma Watson take on the iconic role of Belle. Be a part of the magic with these handmade, Disney Beauty and the Beast inspired ears.
The base of the “Belle” ear is a yellow satin fabric, decorated gold sequin fabric, and topped with a red rose. The “Beast” ear is covered in a plush brown fabric and decorated with a blue and gold glitter “coat”, white ruffle ascot, and a blue rhinestone. The center is adorned with a red sequin bow.
On my last trip to Walt Disney World, I was able to score a coveted reservation to Be Our Guest restaurant. These ears would have made the perfect additional to a magical dining experience.
A note about the general size, fit, and weight of the headbands:
These headbands are approximately 5/8 inch wide made of plastic. The shop owner notes that compared to the ears sold at the parks they run slightly looser, meaning that throughout the day they won’t press too hard behind your natural ears. Due to the materials/fabrics used they can sometimes tend to slip when wearing them. To prevent this from happening, your order will include two small strips of self-adhesive Velcro that can easily be placed on the under side of the headbands (so they will grip your hair) to prevent or at least reduce this issue.
The ears at Disney Parks always squeeze my head and give me a headache, so I am always on the lookout for looser fitting selections.
