Minnie ears have always been a staple of the Disney wardrobe, but they are definitely having their moment in the sun this week! From the rose gold ears that sold out in days to the new interchangeable bow ears that debuted this weekend, Fashionistas have plenty of options for Minnie approved headwear. But one new design seems to have slipped underneath the radar, and it’s definitely trend-worthy: Embroidered Minnie Ears!
Embroidered ear hats have been around since the original Mickey Mouse Club, but this is the first time that Minnie ears have had the option to be personalized. While I think that ear hats are adorable, the Minnie ears fit my personality and style so much more. And I think many Fashionistas feel the same way. I love that we can now add our own personalization to them!
At this time, there is only one option available to be embroidered, and it can only be found at the Chapeau in Magic Kingdom, although it should be appearing at the other parks soon. The ears are a black velvet with a purple sequin bow. Purple is a favorite color of mine, and I like that it is an unexpected and unique color for these special ears. Several thread colors are available for the embroidery, including pink, gold, purple, blue, red, and even rainbow! The ears retail for $23.99, and embroidery costs an extra $8.99 per ear. The embroidery will appear on the back side of the ears as shown in the picture above.
