There has been long awaited anticipation for new content at Hollywood Studios, Saturday Walt Disney Parks and Resorts announced not only Star Wars Land, but Toy Story Land is finally making an appearance too!
Walt Disney Parks and Resorts Chairman Bob Chapek gave thousands of lucky fans a behind the scenes taste of what is to come! The reimagining of Disney’s Hollywood Studios will not only take guests to a Galaxy far, far away, but also to Infinity and Beyond! A new 11-acre land will transport you into the beloved world of Toy Story. Guests will feel as if they’ve been shrunk down and transported to the outdoors of Andy’s backyard. Prepare to be dazzled by oversized toys and buildings made of shovels, plastic buckets and game board pieces. It’s a perfect setting designed by Andy’s imagination which will include two new attractions for any Disney park, and one an expanded Toy Story Mania, a park visitor favorite!
New Attractions coming to Hollywood Studios:
- Family-friendly roller coaster – All on the back of Slinky Dog, this coaster will zip and zoom, plunge and coast as it takes guests on a fun, toy-filled adventure throughout the new land.
- Alien saucers attraction – The famous little green aliens from the movie will take guests around for a spin in their very own flying saucers. The music, lighting and sound effects add to the flurry of action, while “The Claw” looms over.
Walt Disney World Parks goers have been asking for an expanded Pixar presence in Hollywood Studios for years, so this is very welcomed and exciting news!
