Yesterday I was at Kohls, helping my friend shop for a perfect Disney Bounding outfit (yes, my friends use me for my fashion help…lol), when I came across a new collection as I was literally walking out the door! I am so excited! You can totally feel enchanted with this new Beauty and the Beast Collection from Kohls!
This Disney Collection is a very floral collection with a hard edge thrown in here and there. I am loving the floral for Spring! I am soooo ready for a bit warmer weather. I think the rose that Beauty and the Beast is known for is really the main inspiration behind these looks.
There are a lot of style choices available such as sleeveless dresses (short and long), blouses, long sleeve shirts and, the most popular design of the Winter/Spring, the cut out shoulder!
There are softer, non patterned, dresses with lace and denim, to keep the designs a little more feminine.
The harder edge I was talking about is mostly in this jacket. I love this jacket! I will admit I don’t really see the Beauty and The Beast inspiration but it would definitely add an edge to all the sugary sweet floral designs!
If a Beauty and the Beast tee shirt is all you are looking for, then these are what you want. I like that there is an animated and a live action version of this tee shirt! Which one would you prefer? I am a bit torn.
This Collection is a Disney collection and is not by a designer we are used to seeing from Kohls. This is straight up Disney. With that being said, is there more on the way? I admit I was there looking for a new Lauren Conrad Beauty and the Beast Collection because I can totally see that coming. Can’t you? It seems right but, perhaps, it might be too obvious. I guess we will see. This particular collection is a junior collection but I was able to fit into an extra large, which I can’t usually do so that’s promising.
