Okay, full disclosure….I have never seen Who Framed Roger Rabbit. Not for any real particular reason, I just never watched it growing up and have never felt a strong urge to watch it as an adult. It is sitting in my Netflix queue, but I just haven’t gotten around to it. However, all that may be about to change because there is a new streetwear collection from The Hundreds that is inspired by the 1988 film.
The Hundreds is a Southern California streetwear brand known for their blend of surf, skate, and hip hop styles. They have been teasing the new collection for weeks on Instagram, but it is now finally available. Here is a look at some of the new pieces.
The collection is filled with overalls, hats, shirts, sweatshirts and jackets – basically everything you need to add some nostalgia into your wardrobe. I love how these pieces are totally wearable and perfect for a cool weekend look. The Hundreds brand is about “people, not product.” Its co-founder, Bobby Hundreds, thinks streetwear isn’t just about clothing, its about the culture. In a recent Instagram post her said:
We’ve been working on this collaboration with Disney for over a decade (In fact, this was the original proposal before our Peter Pan Lost Boys project – if you were around for that one). If you wanna know why it’s taken so long, just [check] the back story on the movie. So many people, studios, and legends came together to make [the film] happen and the same goes for our collaboration.
If you’re ready to shop The Hundreds x Who Framed Roger Rabbit full collection, visit The Hundreds now! I’ll be right back – going to start watching Who Framed Roger Rabbit for the first ever.
