Funko and Loungefly: A Winning Combination at D23

I am sooooo excited to be attending my first ever D23 Expo. I’ll be like a kid in a candy store. So much to see, so much to hear, and so much to experience! My dear sweet husband will be constantly reminding me “You don’t need to buy everything!” I don’t? My internal processor is giving an error code to that! SORRY DOES NOT COMPUTE. Especially when I saw the list of exclusive offerings from Funko and Loungefly: A Winning combination at D23.

Funko Pop

By day, I work with airplanes, by night I’m a Disney princess. Honestly, I’m a princess all the time, but that didn’t sound as catchy. So, when I saw the Captain Mickey peeping out of “The Mouse”, Walt’s personal plane, that made #1 of my Wish List! However, all of the exclusive Funko Pop are A-DOR-ABLE! There are 11 new Funko Pops and a Funko Themed D23 t-shirt. New Funkos range from Jiminy Cricket to Frozone to the always loveable Baymax. Ba-la-la-la-la! Promo pics display a themed soda can with some of the Funkos. I look forward to discovering if one comes with all the Funkos or just certain ones.

Loungefly

Four New Loungefly backpacks have been teased to the public. These new bags will be available at the Funko/Loungefly booth at D23 Expo. They are more than just a pretty bag. Shoulder Devil Kronk can be accessorized by Shoulder Angel Kronk, and they both have moveable wings. Baby Jack Jack has “laser” eyes that illuminate.

The Funko blog states that even if you cannot make it to the Sold Out D23 event this year, you can still try to buy online. Exclusive items will be available on Funko.com and Loungefly.com at 6 AM on Friday September 9th. It does not specify which time zone. One might assume it’s Pacific as that is where D23 Expo will be.

I love the new Funko and Loungeflys. Captain Mickey is my favorite, which is yours? Do you have a must purchase item on your wish list?
