I found this amazing new site that is perfect for Disney fans called GEMR! I can’t believe all that you can do on it and that it is relatively unheard of by many Disney fans. You need to know about it… I’ve taken it upon myself to make that happen.
The site is called GEMR. Gemr is a social community for collectors. I found it because I am a collector of all things Disney (as I am sure many of you are) and this was a new avenue for me to pursue, with that interest in mind. There are many different features for the users of GEMR. You can discuss the collections you have with others, learn more about the value or history of your collections and, through this, you can connect with others who share the same passion as you! It’s so refreshing to connect with people who understand your love of Disney and don’t tease you about it!
Another feature of the site is that you can trade, buy and sell your collectibles… if that’s something you are in to. I think many people use ebay for the selling of these items but this site is so much better. You can actually see how much the item is really worth! That means no crazy price gauging. I, personally, appreciate that. It also reminds me of pinterest, the way you can like items and keep track of them.
GEMR also has clubs to join. Now, I have mentioned the Disney Club and above is the screenshot of the club. I have joined multiple other clubs on the site, as well! There is a tsum tsum club, Star Wars, Marvel… there are way too many to list. Of course, there are also many non-Disney affiliated clubs to join but I didn’t really look at those. I’m a Disney Fashionista, after all.
GEMR is free to join. They have the website, as I mentioned, and an app. I have spent plenty of time checking things out while at airports, work, in lines… the app has been my friend. You can sign up for it right HERE, or just check it out to see if it’s something you would be interested in.
