Giddy-up! There’s a New Table Service in Town

Now this is news my husband can get on board with! BBQ and a place to sit down and rest at Disney? Yessir, sign him up! Disney Parks blog announced a new eatery coming soon to Hollywood Studios. Toy Storyland to be exact. Giddy-up! There’s a New Table Service in Town!

Estimated play date is Spring of 2023 for the world’s first Toy Story themed restaurant. The creator of Roundup Rodeo BBQ is none other than Andy. He “designed” the restaurant for Woody’s Roundup toys, Buzz and other familiar friends. It promises to be a place of fun for playthings and “honorary” toys alike. The menu hints at comfort foods served family-style. Just like a good ol’ fashioned BBQ. What would a BBQ restuarant be without house-smoked meats and a bevy of sides that your grandma used to make!

The “cardbox box” restaurant gives new meaning to box store. The walls are decorated with Andy’s handdrawn fans that fill the arena of the rodeo. You can be sure that Woody’s Roundup Stars Jessie, Trixie, and Bo Peep will take center stage at the eatery. Bo Peep might even have her sheep Billy, Goat, and Gruff with her!

In true Walt Disney fashion, the design promises to have “figures unique to this restaurant and artwork that can only be found at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.” The restaurant Imagineers (other than Andy, of course) collaborated with animators and designers from the animation studio to create a look unique to Disney’s Hollywood Studios. I don’t know about you, but I cannot wait to try it! Giddy-up! There’s a New Table Service in Town!
