Glad Tidings for the Upcoming Holidays

Christmas may be months away, but Disney is already full of  holiday spirit! The full collection of Glad Tidings merchandise can be found at Disney’s Days of Christmas in Disney Springs, but I’ve seen pieces of the collection in other parks as well. With a muted color scheme of royal blue, red, and white, this collection gives me a definite 60s feel.

Tree Skirt – $79.99
Countdown Calendar – $27.99
Mug – $19.99

A recurring image in the collection is one of Mickey and Minnie dressed as Santa and Mrs. Claus riding in a sleigh filled with toys.  If you look closely, you can see a toy Donald Duck mixed in among the other toys. The sky is filled with snowflakes, and a tiny snow castle rests on the ground below.

Stocking – $29.99
Ornament – $19.99
Pillow – $34.99 Blanket – $59.99

Mickey and Minnie also appear as an ice-skating pair sharing a holiday kiss. They are once again dressed as Santa and Mrs. Claus, but this one shows a few more wardrobe details. For example, Minnie is wearing striped stockings and her ice-skates have pom poms. Maybe she went shopping with Tinkerbell! Holiday Cheer is the theme of this image as it appears on the ornament and the double sided pillow.

Ornament – $26.99
Ornament – $29.99

Set of 2 Bell Ornaments – $19.99
Set of 3 ornaments – $34.99
Castle ornament – $24.99

There are several ornaments representing Glad Tidings. Most are figural ornaments of Mickey and Minnie, but my favorite is actually the pearlescent Mickey head. It’s really beautiful in the light. Our favorite little mice seem to be having quite the time masquerading as Santa and Mrs. Claus as most of the merchandise features that image. The castle ornament is the most unique of the bunch. I love the cut paper, hand-made feel of it!

Figurine – $39.99

This little figurine features such cute details! From the tag on the gift to the crystal Mickey head on the base, the little things set this decoration apart. The streetlight even lights up!

Tree Topper – $39.99

The 1960s vibe is really apparent in the tree topper. The design is perfectly kitschy and makes me smile each time I look at it!

I know it seems really early for Christmas, but it’s never too early for shopping! I’m sure that more pieces are coming, but what do you think of the ones released so far? Drop us a comment and let us know!
