Celebrate the Weekend with Steamboat Willie and the Harveys!

California handbag line Harveys is a favorite of Disney fashionistas everywhere. They are known for their fun release events, for which some people camp out all night to attend. On-line releases are every bit as popular and usually sell out quickly. Due to geography, our Disneyland based Fashionistas have historically had an advantage in acquiring these bags, but recently, Ever After Jewerly Co. in Disney Springs has started carrying them. And now, Walt Disney World is even getting its own Harveys event!

The release will take place at Ever After Jewelry in Disney Springs on Friday, May 4 from 5-8 and Saturday, May 5 from 5-7. Dana and Melanie Harvey will be on hand to sign bags, and a special gift with purchase will be available both days.

Now for the really fun part: the actual bags! Although there are a few different Harveys designs already available at Ever After, this event is focusing on the latest Harveys release, Steamboat Willie! There are  even two new styles exclusive to Walt Disney World—a two-sided medium streamline tote and a hip pack (seen above) that can be worn a few different ways. Two other styles will also be released, but we do not have confirmation on exactly what those will be. Steamboat Willie is always a popular character, and the black, white, and gray color scheme is so versatile. I’m predicting that these will go super quickly!
