Every Disney Princess is absolutely gorgeous in her own way. And, ever since we were little, most of us have dreamed about twirling in those sparkling gowns, styling with flawless updos, and basically living our best princess life.

And let’s not lie, some of us still daydream about it. Well, the opportunity’s here with your prom.

Now, whether you want to achieve the magical sparkling look of Cinderella or dance away your heart like Belle, your prom outfit should shout, “I’m a Disney Princess!”

But how to go on about it? With this fairytale guide, of course!

According to a survey, most people have voted Belle as the most beautiful Disney
Princess, while others voted for Aurora. But hey, beauty is super personal!

Maybe Snow White is your top pick, and you secretly wish to recreate her magical look.

So, whatever your preferences are, this guide will help you to get that dreamy Disney Princess look.

So, without a wait, read on now!

Ways to Create a Disney Princess Look for Your Prom

  1. Pick your favorite Disney Princess

The first and most important thing is figuring out: “Who is your inner princess?”

Think about whom you relate to the most. Are you the chill, go-with-the-flow type? Super jolly or a bookworm? Once you know this, you will be able to find the ideal princess personality for you.

To help you with this, here is a quick breakdown of the vibes of some of the Disney Princesses:

  • Cinderella: Super classic, soft, graceful
  • Belle: Smart, romantic, selfless
  • Ariel: Adventurous, curious
  • Jasmine: Free-spirited, bold
  • Merida: Headstrong, courageous
  • Rapunzel: Creative, playful, naturally inspired style
  • Tiana: Hardworking, ambitious
  1. Choose the right dress

Once you are done with the choice of princess, the next thing to do is to select a perfect prom dress.

Here are some ideas that let you choose without looking like a costume.

Cinderella

Look for a light blue ball gown with layers of tulle or chiffon. The more twirl it has, the better. Go for a little sparkle or sequinned bodice. For this, you can go through the latest collection of prom 2025 dresses.

And yes! You can add a silver waist belt or a crystal brooch if you wanna add more drama to your look.

Belle

For this, go for a golden yellow dress with a lot of ruffles on the skirt. If yellow is not your thing, try soft champagne tones for the perfect elegance.

Ariel

Well, Ariel is all about the mermaid silhouette, body fit at the top, and flared at the bottom. Go for ocean tones like teal, purple, or even sea green. And if you are daring enough, you can add a side slit to show off your toned legs.

Rapunzel

For this, an A-line or empire waist dress will work beautifully, specifically in the shades of lilac, blush pink, or lavender. Look for floral designs, puff sleeves, and subtle sparkle.

Moana

A big fan of Moana’s flowy and beachy looks? Then, go for coral, orange, or nude tones. Try a two-piece or a wrap-style dress with minimal beadings.

  1. Pick the perfect hairstyle

Do you know that your hairstyle can totally make or break the entire look? So, go beyond your everyday hairstyle and check out some of the beautiful hairdos inspired by these princesses.

Disney Princess Hairdo Option
Ariel Loose, voluminous curls or waves
CinderellaSleek bun
BelleSoft curls pulled half-up
TianaSleek back bun or ponytail
MoanaBig curls with side partition
  1. Slay the makeup

Girls, it’s time to glam up! Go with a look that reflects your princess vibes. You can go for soft and glowy makeup with those perfect light pink lips, peach blush, and silver eyeshadow for a Cinderella look.

For Belle, you can opt for gold and warm tones of shadow, rose blush, and soft red lips. Similarly, for Ariel, go for bold purple or teal eye shadow, winged liner, or blush lips. You can also highlight your cheekbones for a sun-kissed glow.

So, yeah, just like this, you can apply the makeup according to your favorite princess.

  1. Choosing the right accessory

To complete the look, choose the right accessories. You can pick a small clutch that sparkles or matches your dress. Choose chandelier earrings, a jewelled necklace, or a tiara.

For heels, look at what your favorite picks carry. Like, for Cinderella, go for silver or clear heels. For creating a look like Moana, go for sandals or wedges.

  1. Make the magical entrance

Once you are done with all the preparations, the next thing to do is to walk like a prom queen. Pose like you are on the red carpet. Take a number of pictures and enjoy every moment.

Don’t worry about being too much; Disney Princesses were born to be extra!

Be Confident with Your Looks!

Remember, girls, being a princess isn’t just about the looks; it’s about the vibes. So, for that, own your uniqueness, be kind and confident, and don’t stress about little things.

Just promise one thing…Don’t wait for a fairy Godmother. Be your own!
