Will we ever see the end to Minnie Mouse’s style presence? Doubtful! Minnie Mouse is the ultimate Disney style icon. Coupled with her sassy personality, her style inspires fashion designers around the world.
In the latest Disney style collaboration, students at IFM (Institut Français de la Mode) were tasked to create looks that were inspired by both Minnie Mouse and music. That’s right, Minnie Mouse is sashaying and jittery bugging her way into the classroom of up and coming designers.
Designers were chosen by a jury and the top three looks are full of Disney style.
This first look is inspired by Jazz music. Each style element plays well with each other, while each standing out as individual elements. Much like the instruments used in Jazz, each element works together to create one harmonious piece.
The second look is also based on the Jazz genre. Personally, I love the graphic elements here. This dress would be perfect for a night out on the town. Just channel Minnie’s playful attitude and you are sure to have a great evening.
This last look is a brilliant pop of pop art. The dress was inspired by R&B music, and to me, it looks like this was inspired by the amazing street art and graffiti all over New York. I like how the dress is paired with a pair of plain white sneakers; it gives the dress a totally wearable vibe!
