I’m in so much trouble! The other day, my mother opened up one of my kitchen cabinets and discovered my mug collection. She told me that I wouldn’t need to buy another mug for as long as I live. She was obviously wrong because I need all of these Valentine’s Day Disney Mugs that we found at TJMaxx!
Mug Sets
Let’s start with a classic. This Minnie Mouse set is picture perfect. I can see it now. A cold February morning with a rolling fireplace and me, sipping hot cocoa from one of these mugs. I think that I might even do what my cousin did at Christmas. Her marshmallow to hot cocoa ratio was about 1 part hot cocoa and 3 parts marshmallow. You couldn’t even see the cocoa under the marshmallows. The first mug in this set has Minnie making a heart, while the second has the word love. The handles are even little red hearts. I love the simplicity of the color. The mugs say so much in only red, white, and black.
Eric is one of my favorite Disney Princes. In my opinion, he has one of the most developed storylines out of all of the Disney Princes. Even if you aren’t a big Little Mermaid fan, it’s hard not to agree with how cute this is. From the way that Eric and Ariel look at each other to little Sebastian singing on one side of the boat. This mug hits it out of the water.
Next up is another classic Disney pair. Lady and the Tramp look like they have stars in their eyes as they gaze at each other from their respective mugs. Hearts and stars flutter all around them. I think that the little golden heart handles look a little bit like the spaghetti that the love dogs are eating.
Finally, if you didn’t get your fix of the Nightmare Before Christmas during the Halloween and Christmas season, there’s no need to despair! Jack and Sally can help you celebrate Valentine’s Day as well. Rather than having pictures of the characters on the mugs, each mug is decorated like the outfits that the characters wear. I think that this is such a fun and different way to decorate the mugs and made them rise to the top of my wish list immediately.
Flying Solo
Just because you don’t have a special someone this Valentine’s Day doesn’t mean that you don’t deserve a mug just as much as people who do! For those of us, like myself, who are flying solo this year, there are several options to choose from. First up is a Stitch mug. On one side of the mug, we see Stitch waving out into the crowd. It looks like he is clutching a homemade valentine.
On the back of the mug, we see who the valentine is for. Angel of course! Stitch is bursting with excitement. He looks so pleased that Angel seems to be happy with her gift.
Finally, you’re never really flying solo if you’re with your friends. We saved the best for last with this Golden Girls mug. I can’t wait to get together with my friends and sip tea from this mug while we spill the tea.
