In order to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Star Wars, Japan’s Disney Store has partnered up with two companies for some intergalactic goods.
Right on the heels of May the Fourth, Japan’s Disney Store has collaborated with Manhattan Portage and Jam Home Made to bring Star Wars fans even more merchandise. Are you on Star Wars overload yet? Don’t burn out your Star Wars fuel to early! As we get closer to the next film release in the franchise, you can bet that we are going to see a lot more Star Wars fashion and merchandise releases.
If you don’t already know about Manhattan Portage (I did not, by the way), they are a New York city brand that offers messenger bags, backpacks, and other tech essentials. The new Disney Store collaboration features three new pieces. Each piece has a super subtle Star Wars print, along with a 40th anniversary patch. Check out the backpack, messenger bag, and mini messenger bag below. Which one is your favorite?
Now don’t feel bad if you haven’t heard of Jam Home Made yet either. They are a Japanese accessory brand known for unique jewelry designs. To celebrate Star Wars’ 40th anniversary, they have created two new bracelets. Whether you fall on the light side or dark side, Jam Home Made has you covered!
Unfortunately, these items are currently only being sold in Japan and through Japan’s Disney Store. But I bet you could scour eBay and find a few resale items up for sale.
What do you think of the latest Star Wars collaboration? Will you be searching eBay, or will you pass on these ones? Let me know in the comments.
