Disney100 spans 100 years of fashion and decades of fads. We’ve watched Mickey Mouse grow from Steamboat Willie to the dapper Main Mouse. His friends circle has grown to include the Fab5 and many princesses! First, ShopDisney introduced the 1920‘s. The next era finds the leader of the band highlight of the dirty thirties.
Everyone has heard of the roaring 20’s. The little-known Dirty thirties is the decade that followed. Categorized by the Great Depression, the Dust Bowl and debilitating hurricanes, times were very rough. Leave it to the leader of the band to strike up a happy tune!
Dressed in his marching band finest, Mickey’s baton is perched and ready to strum up the band. Moveable arms are the highlight of the Loungefly bag, allowing Mickey to be ready to lead music or Take 5 for a rest. Shiny gold buttons contract with his red and yellow uniform. Atop his head, he dons a red marching band hat complete with blue feather. The short which features Mickey trying to lead his band eventually evolves to the leader of the Mickey Mouse Club. His cheer is the highlight of this hard era in US History and he brings a priceless smile to everyone’s face!
