Yesterday, the new Frozen Eau de Parfum by Geir Ness was officially released. I shared a video with one of the representatives on the FB page to give you an idea about the perfume but we learned so much more just talking to her (her name is Jacqueline). I wanted to share the details about the new Frozen scent and upcoming related products so you can plan accordingly!
This is the first time in Disney history that Disney has partnered with a perfume legend to create a scent specifically for Disney. The Geir Ness scent that has been featured at the Norway Pavillion for years, Laila, is the number one scent sold around the World Showcase (even over scents from France and Italy), so Geir Ness was the natural choice to create this new scent for Disney. Let’s not forget that this is a Norwegian fragrance designer and Frozen is based in Norway! That didn’t hurt the cause either, I’m sure.
This scent is hard to describe because it is like nothing I have ever smelt. There are no hints of Vanilla or any spices. It’s not really woodsy but it is a very natural scent. It’s not light but it’s not too heavy. It’s really just lovely. The price is average for a good Eau de Parfum at $50 for a 50 ml bottle.
While talking to Jacqueline, we learned that in the upcoming months there will be a matching, shimmer lotion and then a gift set of both the lotion and perfume. A matching shimmer lotion would be awesome. I like scented lotions even more than perfume (and I love some shimmer) so this is fabulous. Don’t you think the lotion would have to shimmer with Elsa being the inspiration??
This week, at the Norway Pavilion in the World Showcase at Epcot, you can meet Geir Ness from 12p- 6p. I believe he is there till Friday. You can learn more about the fragrance directly from the source!
