I grew up surrounded by mini figures and statues, cards sent to my by my grandma and mom, of Precious Moments. Little did I know there was a sole individual – Linda Rick – as the beauty behind the designs.
Michelle got to meet Linda and take in the new Precious Moments line-up of Disney characters. I’m all about learning behind-the-scenes tricks and information, so I kinda geeked out that I, too, was sharing space with the Precious Moments designer.
Naturally, Michelle was drawn to the red-headed Ariel as her princess to pose with. Though Linda was sold out of her mini Ariels, she offered Michelle a signed Cinderella doll.
The above are some of the Precious Moments Dolls that were available at the Expo. When asked if there were any dolls special to the D23 Expo Linda told us that the dresses were made our of velvet instead of the usual satin. The gowns were luxurious and that was the extra touch made for these dolls at the Expo. Linda Rick was also doing a signing and who wouldn’t want a doll signed by the artist herself?!
What do you think fashionistas? Which Precious Moments doll are you?
