I said it before but this really is the time for Little Mermaid merchandise! First, we told you about the Loungefly backpack that is finally available and then the Ariel dress and Loungefly purse popped up on ShopDisney! Now, there is a Little Mermaid promenade basket from BoxLunch to share with you. It retails for $60.90 and is just what you need for the perfect beach picnic! Or, as Ariel would call it, “a day warm on the sand.”
Are you wondering if it’s a tote or a basket? It’s both! The top of this bag looks like your typical tote bag with sturdy brown handles while the bottom looks like a wicker basket in a rich brown color. The tote part features the words “Ocean Local.” It also has a beautiful image of Ariel admiring a dinglehopper. The bag also includes two plates, two wine glasses, two sets of flatware, and some canvas pouches. Surprisingly, there aren’t any pictures of these items. I guess we’ll have to imagine what all the gadgets and gizmos and whozits and whatzits look like! Whatever they look like, there’s room for them and lots of food!
