Look Disney Chic In The New Mickey Mouse Sunglasses by Ray-Ban

I like to think I am a bit of a sunglass aficionado. I own many pair of designer sunglasses that go with different looks I put together. It’s one of those accessories that, if you take good care of them, can last a very long time. I don’t however, have a high quality pair of Disney sunglasses. All that is about to change with the news of the release of Limited Edition Mickey Mouse Ray-Ban sunglasses!

Later this week, December 8th to be exact (that’s tomorrow!),  limited-edition Ray-Ban sunglasses featuring Mickey Mouse arrive at select locations throughout Disneyland and Walt Disney World Resorts, including Disney Springs.

What you will find is  the classic Ray-Ban Wayfarer design, which has been updated with a classic Mickey Mouse print on the outside of the temples and a “limited edition” engraving on the inside. I can’t think of one Disney fashionista that wouldn’t want to own a pair of these!! I am just ecstatic I am going to be arriving at Walt Disney World that very day!

What many of you may not realize is that Sunglass Hut is the official retailer of sunglasses at the Disney Resorts. We aren’t talking about the more inexpensive sunglasses you can find on the racks at the stores in the Parks. We are talking about the high quality sunglasses. The new Mickey Mouse Ray-Ban sunglasses will be available at the locations listed below, while supplies last, starting on December 8, 2016:

Walt Disney World Resort:
  • Disney Springs – Sunglass Icon; West Side
  • Disney Springs – APEX by Sunglass Hut; The Landing
  • Magic Kingdom Park – Island Supply; Adventureland
Disneyland Resort:
  • Downtown Disney District – Sunglass Icon and kiosk
  • Disney California Adventure park – Sunglass Icon kiosk

How much do these stunning glasses go for?  The retail price is $190 plus tax with a purchase limit of two pairs per guest (I guess that you can’t get them for all your friends but maybe just you and the bestie). There will also not be any discounts on these glasses, FYI. I am assuming that means no DVC, Disney Visa or AP.

What do you think of the new Mickey Mouse sunglasses by Ray-Ban? Are you going to be standing in line to get a pair? Let me know what you think in the comment box below!
