¡Ay, caramba! New amigos have arrived at the World Showcase! Technically they’ve been there, however, you can now find them on new merchandise. Salsa over to Mexico where Loungefly Says Bienvenidos a los Tres Caballeros.
One of the biggest debates for Epcot is, “Do you start in Mexico? Or do you start in Canada?” For all you Team Mexico folks, this merch is for you! Loungefly joins The Three Caballeros in making sweet musical fashion with fun, festive ears. Donald, Panchito Pistolas, and Jose Carioca harmonize together vocally and instrumentally on the design. You’ll also find fireworks, a Mayan pyramid (a nod to the ride at Epcot), and “Saludos Amigos” decorating the ears. A vibrantly colored striped bow is secured in the middle with a miniature guitar! The official country colors spell out “Mexico: Epcot World Showcase” upon the headband.
The fiesta continues with the mini backpack. Again, we see an applique of The Three Caballeros in front of the pyramid and fireworks against a black background. It appears to also double as a pocket. More of the designs from the ears are located around the bag, with the addition of a fourth amigo, the eccentric Aracuan Bird. Can’t you just hear his crazy song?
